Apple has officially expanded its paid iCloud+ subscription offerings to include full access to Apple TV and Apple Arcade at no extra cost. The initiative transforms the company's cloud storage service into a comprehensive media and utility bundle across more than 100 international markets.

Under the revised service structure, every tier of paid iCloud+ storage automatically grants subscribers access to Apple Original streaming content and a catalog of over 200 gaming titles. The rollout represents a major shift in how Apple package and distributes its primary digital services in emerging and growing global markets.

Apple Bundles Apple TV and Apple Arcade Into Paid iCloud+ Plans

The revised offering incorporates Apple TV and Apple Arcade into every paid tier of iCloud+, starting from the base 50GB storage tier. In addition to existing cloud utilities, subscribers now receive access to award-winning original shows, feature films, and ad-free mobile and desktop games. The updated package also includes access to Apple Music Select, a curated suite of ad-free digital radio stations embedded directly within the Apple Music platform.

Global Rollout Across Selected Countries

Apple is deploying this updated service bundle across more than 100 countries and regions through the end of the month. Key launch territories include India, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Türkiye, and the United Arab Emirates, alongside broad availability across Africa, Latin America, and parts of Asia. Notably, the expanded iCloud+ configuration is not available in North America, Western Europe, Australia, or the United Kingdom, where Apple continues to offer its standard Apple One subscription tiers. Furthermore, the move expands Apple TV service availability to 59 new global markets, bringing its total reach to 170 countries.

Included Storage Tiers and Family Sharing Support

The service expansion applies to all paid storage options, including 50GB, 200GB, 2TB, and higher tiers. Subscribers maintain access to core privacy features such as iCloud Private Relay, Hide My Email, and Custom Email Domain management. Through Family Sharing, a single paid plan can be shared with up to five family members, allowing everyone in the household to access storage, streaming media, and game catalogs independently with private data isolation.

Changes for Standalone Streaming and Gaming Subscribers

In regions where the expanded iCloud+ plan is available, Apple is phasing out individual standalone sales for Apple TV and Apple Arcade. Existing users who currently subscribe to those services on a standalone basis will have their individual recurring plans canceled as they are transitioned over to iCloud+ access. Apple confirmed that all game progress, save data, and user profiles associated with Apple Arcade will remain fully intact during the transition.

The consolidation strategy aims to streamline billing for users while dramatically increasing subscription retention across international territories. It comes alongside broader hardware and system updates across Apple's lineup, including recent updates like

and updates to hardware support for peripheral devices such as

Future Service Expansion and Availability

Commenting on the service shift, Eddy Cue, Apple's senior vice president of Services, emphasized the convenience of combining storage and entertainment into a single membership tier. "We're excited to bring Apple TV and Apple Arcade to iCloud+ users in over 100 countries in one convenient subscription," Cue said. "iCloud+ users can now securely store and share personal content across their devices, enjoy the absolute best in original storytelling from Apple TV, and explore an incredible lineup of hundreds of games through Apple Arcade."

This software service strategy mirrors recent efforts to streamline product options across hardware, as seen with features like the

and system-level enhancements such as

macOS 27 Apple Intelligence support

. Furthermore, current mobile device innovations like the

will continue to serve as primary hardware platforms for these bundled digital entertainment services.

By effectively turning low-cost cloud storage plans into rich multimedia subscriptions, Apple significantly raises the value proposition of its entry-level paid services in price-sensitive markets worldwide.
